A little bit of folklore, a little bit of fate — and a whole lot of history.

My Zodiac Reclaimed Horse Brass Collection brings together beautifully aged mid-century horse brasses, richly coloured recycled sari silk, hand-forged brass components and natural gemstones to create truly one-of-a-kind pieces of jewellery with a story to tell.

Horse brasses have a wonderfully nostalgic place in British history. Once seen hanging from the harnesses of working horses, and later displayed proudly above fireplaces and in country pubs, these decorative brass emblems carry echoes of agriculture, tradition, ceremony and rural life. I’ve reclaimed and lovingly restored these vintage pieces and given them a completely new life as wearable talismans.

Each zodiac horse brass represents a different sign of the zodiac, connecting the ancient symbolism of the heavens with the enduring symbolism of the horse — an animal long associated with strength, freedom, work, travel and our connection to the land.

The vintage brass is paired with tactile, recycled sari silk, handmade brass elements and natural gemstone accents chosen to complement the character of each piece. Depending on the design, you’ll find rose quartz or tiger’s eye — stones traditionally associated with qualities such as love, courage, confidence and protection.

Every piece is handmade in my studio, combining reclaimed materials, natural gemstones and old-world symbolism with a distinctly modern, bohemian feel.

No mass-produced jewellery. No soulless uniformity. Just beautifully imperfect, story-filled pieces made slowly and individually.

Because every horse brass is vintage and every piece is individually handmade, availability is naturally limited. If you have your heart set on a particular zodiac sign or would like to discuss a custom piece, please get in touch — bespoke requests may be possible depending on the availability of suitable vintage horse brasses and materials.

Please note: because the horse brasses are vintage and reclaimed, each will carry its own marks, patina and signs of age. These are not imperfections to be corrected — they are part of the story.
